The privacy of your personal information is important to Changemaker Communities ("Changemaker Communities" or "we"). This privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") is provided to explain our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way that your personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) is collected and used at the Changemaker Communities website and all other websites owned or controlled by Changemaker Communities (collectively, the "Site").

If you are an employee of Changemaker Communities or its affiliates, please note that other internal company policies apply to you related to employee use of company computer systems and networks.

We may share Personal Information with our partners, affiliates, consultants, suppliers, and providers. We require that these entities keep your Personal Information confidential and only use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to perform their functions and not for any other purpose.

We may disclose Personal Information in response to legal process or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, for example, in response to a court order, subpoena, or a law enforcement agency's request. We also reserve the right to disclose Personal Information to protect the security of the Site, and to protect ourselves and our partners, affiliates, consultants, suppliers, and providers against liability.

In the event that Changemaker Communities or a significant portion of Changemaker Communities’ assets or business is sold, assigned, merged, or otherwise transferred, Changemaker Communities may transfer your Personal Information as a part of the transaction. In the event such a transfer occurs, Changemaker Communities will use reasonable efforts to keep your Personal Information subject to the same protection as it was prior to the transfer. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that these Service Providers keep your Personal Data confidential and only use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to perform their functions and not for any other purpose.

The Site is not directed to children and Changemaker Communities does not knowingly solicit information from any child under the age of 13.

Use of Anonymous Information

The Site's web servers collect anonymous logs during user visits to the Site. This information is used to create aggregate statistics, for example, when the Site is accessed, the pages which refer visitors to the Site, the type of web browsers visitors use, and which pages of the Site are viewed. These statistics help us understand how the Site is used and provide us with valuable information for improving the Site in the future. From time to time, we may share such aggregate, non-personally identifiable statistical information with ­­advertisers and our partners, affiliates, consultants, suppliers, and providers. The type and amount of information we receive and store depends on how you use the Site. You can access most of our pages without telling us who you are and without revealing any Personal Information.

Technical & Organizational Security Measures

Changemaker Communities has taken measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resiliency of the systems it uses to process Personal Data. These measures are designed to reasonably mitigate risks associated with processing Personal Data and apply to Changemaker Communities, its affiliates, and third parties who, from time to time, are contracted to process Personal Data on its behalf. Third parties may implement their own measures but will at no time provide less protection then provided under Changemaker Communities’s measures digested below.

Security

Changemaker Communities tries very hard to protect our users' Personal Information. Though Changemaker Communities strives to protect this information, no transmission of data is completely secure. Changemaker Communities will not be liable under any circumstances for damages resulting from use of information collected from you or any other visitors to the Site. When you access your account information, we usually offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software receives encrypted information through the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) of your Internet browser which encrypts the Personal Information you input before it is sent to us and seeks to prevent anyone from reading it as the information travels from your computer to ours.

You should be aware that when you voluntarily disclose Personal Information, that information, along with any substantive information disclosed in your communication, can be collected and correlated and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of Changemaker Communities. Please do not post any Personal Information on the Site that you expect to keep private.
